QHSE

At All States Materials Group, Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) are our top priorities. We continuously review and improve our procedures and policies to assure all our work is completed in the safest manner while also maintaining the highest quality control standards. We look for new technologies and practices that will enable us to improve our products and reduce our impact on the environment. These continuous improvement efforts have resulted in numerous beneficial changes made to our operations with regard to quality control, sustainability and more.

Quality Control

We recognize that successful projects require a combination of both high quality materials and workmanship. The All States Materials Group team is committed to assuring this is the case with all the products we supply and all the construction work our crews complete.

This commitment includes:

Protecting the health and safety of our team members is our most important core value and is an integral component of our company’s culture. We are, therefore, committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment that includes safe work sites, safe equipment, safe conditions, proper supervision, and accountability.

Employee safety education and training, frequent work-site inspections, and accident investigation with corrective actions are among the measures used to foster safety in all aspects of our work. We continually explore new safety practices and innovations in personal protective equipment to further safeguard our people. Our team includes full-time safety professionals along with a Safety Committee committed to our safety goals and available to the entire workforce.

We are also committed to complying with all applicable occupational safety and health regulations that apply to our operations and we strive to follow “best practices” in our industry to ensure the health and safety of all our employees.

ASMG continually maintains compliance with all local, state and federal environmental regulations and continuously looks for new technologies and practices that enable us to reduce our impact on the environment.

Ongoing Environmental Efforts

Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA)
Our use of Warm Mix Asphalt technologies allows for applications at a lower temperature. This results in reduced fuel consumption, lower greenhouse gas emissions, increased Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) content in mix designs, and a safer working environment for crews.

Crumb Rubber Modified Asphalt
Our crumb rubber modified asphalt is composed of asphalt blended with 20% recycled tire rubber. In addition to producing a high-performance asphalt binder, this also uses recycled materials and helps to reduce scrap tire inventories.

Emissions Control Efforts
We continue to take numerous steps to control and reduce the emissions from our terminals, plants, and operations. We believe as a part of the community we work and live in, it is our responsibility to help preserve clean air for our families, friends and neighbors.

Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement
Widely recognized as the most recycled material in North America, including by the U.S. EPA, Federal Highway Association, and National Asphalt Pavement Association, asphalt pavement is almost 100% recycled. The use of Reclaimed Asphalt Pavement (RAP) allows for pavement that has been removed from a road to be recycled into new mixes. This process helps to preserve natural resources and reduce waste while producing a cost-effective product for future projects.
